2. Check-in Location
Nanjing International Expo Center
II. Special Notices
The 2025 Nanjing Marathon check-in will adopt a “time-slot reservation” system to control crowd density on-site strictly. Key points:
1. Reserve first, then check in. Participants who fail to arrive during their reserved time slot will not be able to collect their race kit.
2. Participants can make reservations through WeChat Program → Entry Assistant → Event Assistant → Nanjing Marathon → Check-in Reservation. Please plan your trip properly and strictly follow your reserved time slot.
Tip: It is recommended to check in on Thursday (Nov 13) or Friday (Nov 14) to avoid the peak crowd on Saturday (Nov 15).
3. On race day, facial recognition and wristbands will be used for identity verification. According to the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, all participants with confirmed race entries will authorize the Organizing Committee to collect facial information during check-in. Participants who complete the facial data collection will not need to carry an ID on race day.
Important Reminder:
Suppose a participant refuses or revokes the authorization for collecting personal information (such as name, ID number, phone number, emergency contact, etc.). In that case, they will bear the consequences, including being unable to participate, disqualification, or race result cancellation.
III. Check-in Process
IV. Check-in Credentials
1. Participants must present original valid identification documents to complete the check-in procedure (e.g., original second-generation Resident Identity Card, Mainland Travel Permit or Residence Permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents, Mainland Travel Permit or Residence Permit for Taiwan residents, or for foreign participants, a valid passport or Foreigner’s Permanent Residence ID Card, etc.). Please ensure that the ID is valid and consistent with the information provided during registration.
2. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by their guardian or legal representative, who must bring their original identification document (ID card or household registration booklet) and the participant to collect the race kit.
3. Participants without the required original identification documents will be denied race kit collection.
V. Race Kit Collection
Important Notice on Race Kit Items:
The race wristband is an essential credential for race participation and for collecting finisher souvenirs. Staff will attach the wristband to the participant during check-in. Participants must not remove, damage, or transfer the wristband. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to deny entry to the starting area or refuse to distribute finisher souvenirs if the wristband is visibly damaged.
VI. Friendly Reminders
1. Participants must collect their race kits in person. No proxy collection is allowed. On-site identity verification will be carried out via facial recognition. Participants must bring their original valid identification document to check-in. If the person and the ID do not match, the Organizing Committee will refuse to issue the race kit.
2. For participants under 18 years old, both the minor and their guardian or legal representative must be present during check-in. The guardian/legal representative must sign the Participant Notice and Minor Insurance Acknowledgement on-site. For minors under 13 years old participating in the Mini Health Run, the guardian/legal representative must register for the same event and accompany the child throughout the race. Otherwise, the race kit will not be issued and the participant will be denied entry.
3. Participants unable to collect race kits in person may apply within 10 days after the race via the official website to have race items (excluding bib, timing chip, and name badge) shipped to them. The participant will bear all shipping costs. Details of the application process will be announced on the official website after the event. Sponsor-provided items must be collected in person and will not be shipped.
4. T-shirt sizing: No size information is collected during registration. Sizes will be distributed based on event stock and request order, on a first-come, first-served basis. The Organizing Committee will do its best to meet participants’ preferences but cannot guarantee the desired size for everyone.
5. Size exchange: Participants may exchange T-shirts on-site only if the original packaging is unopened. Once opened, exchanges will not be accepted.
